A series of lectures. This is interactive.
Theory without real-world applications. It's easy to work in hypotheticals, but that's now what we're doing here.
Passive learning. Participants are expected to bring their own real-world challenges as working case studies.
One on one coaching. The classes are small (usually <10 people) to ensure everyone gets to participate.
A re-telling of the book. The book introduces a number of core global communication ideas. This course is designed to dig deeply into those concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.
I've spent more than half of my post-college life outside of my home country - 16 years in Japan and a year in Australia. I wish I had this when I started on that journey. Sure, there are books about living within other cultures, managing and working with the [fill-in-the-blank-nationality], coping with culture shock, and communicating across cultures and geographies.
